Warning - SHY FX - 3D stage render
A 3D stage render of SHY FX song warning. Developed through aftereffects and blender.
Overview of the subject.
Festivals and events ARE a big part of music culture. Each new event providing unique visuals to GO along with the music. Touring DJ's without a unique visual/lighting show ARE increasingly rare. Dance music audiences CPME to expected on-stage visuals to enhance the performance. Motion graphic artists or 3d artists commonly create THESE visuals.
I CAME across shy fx - warning over the summer break. Every time I listened to it, I could always imagine a typography stage design while listening to this song at a festival.
I found the song interesting when coming to the tempo and the lyrics, even more so due to its Rastafarian origins.

aims for my project
I proposed to create a multiscreen typography stage peace that would have been displayed behind the artist while the song was being performed.
I haVE a genuine interest in graphics created for eventS, and I aimed to make graphics for my chosen song that significantly show the lyrics. However, still allows the audience to read and understand the music.
Approach
The approach I HAD was going to be gritty and fast-paced. It would be energetic to follow the song's beat and the effect the music itself would have on the audience. This would be a fast and exciting reaction. The aim was that the graphics and typed would enhance the performance drastically.
The music represents anarchy and being different as a whole. I would achieve this by using different types of fonts and motion to keep with the pace of the music, plus texturizing them in unique ways to maKE them abstract and stAND out.
the idea
My idea, therefore, would follow this trend by being very aggressive and abstract. I DID this by following several different styles and effects on different screens, showing the differenceS and linkS by following the lyrics.
this would be effective as I would be able to project the lyrics so people understand the words and also create a unique style and atmosphere through the way they were projected.
I would treat each screen as a unique project. Therefore, each one would have different graphics. However, the typography would follow loosely with its other counterparts on the other screens but would perform differently to them in ways through the project.
